Not too bad considering the start. HBP and a walk and give up only 1. Time to get it back plus some.

67 years old. Seen hundreds if not thousands of baseball games. Seen snow, flood, lightening, and hard rain, but I have never seen a hail delay.
Maybe corbs can wake up the guys during the break.
Meanwhile, Auburn leads USCe 5-2 in the bottom of the second on espn2.

I wonder if Holton thinks that perhaps he got the wrong umpire on Friday night? The Saturday & Sunday strike zones have been radically different from Friday.

Wow. I thought Polk might have been safe in real time. On the replay I was even more convinced he reached third before the tag was applied.

Sweet RBI double by Polk.
Good baserunning by Maldo the Younger.
Poor baserunning by Polk making the 3rd out at 3rd base.
Sigh...

I thought the same, but Corbs and the 3B umpire both had great angles and Corbs didn't argue at all.

Hat's off to the Kentucky catcher who actually threw Bradfield out. Doesn't happen very often!

Perfect pitchout, perfect thro to second, and Bradfield is out stealing.
BTW, earlier in the year he was picked off twice and they counted it as caught stealing. About 10-12 games ago they took it off and said he been caught once. Wonder if they had to get a ruling on it? At any rate, Bradfield has just gotten thrown out for the second time.

That RBI single was quite a job of hitting. Dude pulled an ankle-high breaking pitch diving toward the LH batters box thru the hole between SS & 3B. That's a swing and miss or soft bouncer nearly every time. Not much you can do about that but say nice job.

We have had several really close plays this weekend that we have not asked for a review.

Several yesterday. Interesting, really.

I thought last night Bradfield was safe at first.

I’m getting sick of us swinging at so many first pitches.
