Re: Kentucky v Vanderbilt #2
Imagine if Schreck wasn't on this team this year? We'd probably be .500
Nobody is talking about this kid but man, he hits for average, he hits for power, he has a great eye at the plate. One of the best hitters at VU in a while.

The strike zone today is much larger than last night, especially the low fastball.
Re: Kentucky v Vanderbilt #2
Owen put fastballs in the heart of the plate on both KY RBI hits in the 3rd.

Shultz in to pitch. Owen held to 75 pitches. I think this is a very wise move.
Last thing we need to do is get him hurt for the rest of the year. 5-2 good guys.

I know modern baseball emphasizes and prioritizes home runs, but my goodness, what happened to choking up and going with the pitch? Diaz just struck out on a 3-2 pitch with a runner on 3rd and 1 out trying to pull a fastball on the outer half of the plate. I know I come from a different, long ago mentality toward hitting, but I just don't get the all-or-nothing approach.

Do you ******* have to interview JAMES FRANKLIN at the Vanderbilt game???
I was enjoying watching this and then they did that.
WHY????
Are they also going to interview all the basketball players that just entered the transfer portal?

Re: Kentucky v Vanderbilt #2
So we COULD have Polk up right now with a good chance to extend the lead. Instead, we have Hewitt who has, let's say, had a less than impressive plate presence this year.
