Myles Stute commits to South Carolina
So that makes two members of last season's team to transfer within the conference.

Re: Myles Stute commits to South Carolina
Wish him well, he was fun to watch. Can't say I totally get it, however, particularly the abruptness of his departure. Loved his hustle but couldn't grasp why he lost his shot. Ah, life is a mystery.
They mystery will deepen when we find out where QMB ends up and why he left after saying he was staying.

Correction: He will go 13 - 13 against Vandy, but 1 - 13 against every other SEC team.

Re: Myles Stute commits to South Carolina
I’d be very curious to learn the full story here. Just seems like more than frustration with lost PT. Stute was presumably one year away from a VU degree. It’s a shame, really.

His family is very big on academics- very successful parents. I'm surprised at this choice.

Re: Myles Stute commits to South Carolina
This was all very NIL related. Here is the story I got...
The Vanderbilt Collective offered Stute a deal that if he signed with another SEC team, they will sponsor him by paying $200 per missed 3 point shot and an additional $100 for each time he let a ballhandler blow by him. He figured hey, I can make about five grand every time I play against my peeps next year, so he ultimately decided on South Carolina since we'll play them twice.
