I went back and doubled-checked, and unless the online version does not include everything, there was no mention of the SEC Coaches recognition of VU MBB - nothing about Liam or Coach Stackhouse.

Still no Stackhouse Co-COY, but there is this, under "Vanderbilt": "Jill Wagner’s historic farm home, her battle with migraine and what’s next", which is much more newsworthy. (Don't get me wrong, I have loved Jill since "Wipeout", but she won't return my letters, emails, dms, etc.)

It's odd that that Jill story shows up under Vanderbilt sports in the online edition. It was content entirely written and paid for by Pfizer. I thought it might have mentioned VUMC participating in the clinical trials for the drug, but no mention of the word Vanderbilt anywhere in it.

The Tennessean caters to the big orange unwashed. Even the smallest complimentary article about VU might offend them. Besides ignoring us, there is hardly ever any mention of TSU, Belmont or any other local college and university sports.

Today's Tennessean article (print) was about our Kentucky win, and focused on Rodney Chatman. I appreciate that he helped our current players a lot, but to be in the headline about our Kentucky victory? Something is wrong at that paper.
