You got to look at Stack in the video of Jordan's shot. No reaction at all on a huge play. I bet he was jumping and screaming on the inside

Re: Vanderbilt-Kentucky game thread
That’s terrible. We rode him far. Just a bad landing on that right foot.
Re: Vanderbilt-Kentucky game thread
Indeed. A previous thread they were demonizing Jordan. The team stepped it up under enormous pressure. Liam’s injury and foul trouble made things interesting. Kudos to Stack for out coaching Calipari and played small ball.bornadore57 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 8:07 pm Incredible win!!!! Great game Jordan Wright!!!! Love this team!!!!

Re: Vanderbilt-Kentucky game thread
Truly a shame. With Liam I honestly believe this team could match up with just about any team in the country the way they have been playing. Darn shame to lose yet another best player.
I guess this just means the team has to go on a long enough run for him to have time to return!
Re: Vanderbilt-Kentucky game thread
Got to give Stack lots of credit. Vandy gets the ball with the game tied and the clock winding down. The team looks to Stack for a time out, and he motions them to play on and trust their stuff. I think that rattled Kentucky and they were pretty spread out when Jordan made his move. The Tennessee win, the Auburn win, now the Cats - look how close the scores have been. They have a few days to practice the younger bigs and have a plan for Miss. State. A wonderful win. Go Vandy!!

It might have been my brother who lives in Louisville and hates UK.

Re: Vanderbilt-Kentucky game thread
Auburn goes down at Bama in OT.
LSU is currently rolling Mizzou down in Baton Rouge. Barring a miracle comeback, VU sits alone in 5th place.
Did ANYONE predict that earlier this year? Hats off to the team. Oh, and props to Candace Lee for that CJS contract extension. Sure looks smart in hindsight.

Re: Vanderbilt-Kentucky game thread
If Vandy wins Saturday, and either KY or TN lose their game, does Vandy move into 4th place? Or does overall schedule break ties?

Re: Vanderbilt-Kentucky game thread
My understanding is that if there is a 3 way tie - VU, UK, UT then it would be based on the head to head. UK is 3-1, VU is 2-2 and UT is 1-3.
Always hopeful; rarely optimistic.
