Heading to bottom of 2nd, tied 1-1. Both teams manufactured runs. TCU on a couple seeing-eye singles and a sac fly. Vandy on a HBP (Hewett), an easily stolen 2nd base, good baserunning taking 3rd on a deep fly out down the LF line, and then scoring on routine 4-3.
EBjr nice 3rd out catch on liner to the warning track to straightaway CF. That ball was trouble, not sure many college outfielders would have made that catch. To the 3rd...
Diaz 1-out triple to the LF-CF gap. He stroked it, CF misplayed it somewhat, an ill-advised dive that turned a probable double into an easy triple. He scores on a short EBjr fly out to CF. Nice, aggressive baserunning. 2-1 Vandy going to bottom 3rd.
No pitch count displayed, but Holton has to be pushing 40 as he walks the leadoff man for the second inning in a row. He has good velo and movement, just struggling to throw strikes.

Now 62. Andrew said pregame 70 or so.
Makes sense. He's out for the 4th after a sleep-inducing, 1-2-3 top of the 4th.
After an ugly HBP a 4-3 DP gave hope, but a long double off the RF-CF wall ties it up. Runner then advanced to 3rd on slider in the dirt that Bulger couldn't handle. Holton struggling.
After a pair of Ks, Boki hits a batter. I think that's 4 HBP by Holton & Boki combined. It's okay, sweet slow curve gets Boki's 3rd K of the inning, 2 looking. Now we need some runs.
Vandy gets one on some poor TCU pitching. Austin stroked a 3rd out liner to deep right, look likevtrouble off the bat. Frog leadoff hitter lines a solid single to center. I think that's either 4 or 5 of their leadoff men have reached base. Boki gets his 4th K on the next guy. He's looked strong.
And he grooves a 3-2 pitch, line drive 3-run double followed by a monster 2-run HR 8-10 rows deep to RF. Suddenly a 7-3 game. And the 3rd out is a drive to the warning track in front of the 407 sign. Game went south quickly.
