Vandy to face old friend Bobby Petrino on September 16
In a bit of a surprise, the Missouri State coach is going to be the offensive coordinator at UNLV, Vanderbilt's opponent in the desert on September 13th. He joins former Missouri head coach and Arkansas defensive coordinator now Rebels head coach Barry Odom. There was speculation he was headed to Texas A&M to be their offensive coordinator.

I'm planning a trip around this game so I double checked-- right now the game is on Saturday, September 16. I thought you may have known something about a weird TV Wednesday (13th) night game or something.

On second thought...Petrino is leaving Las Vegas and headed to College Station to join Texas A&M as Jimbo's OC. Hope he was only renting out in the desert.
