Suffice to say we can probably all agree without doubt that Drew somehow created a whole significantly worse off than the sum of the parts that season. Nearly all the players from that 0-? Season are getting some form of nba minutes lol.

Re: Matt Ryan’s Buzzer Beater
Great pass, too. Ryan showed nice awareness to check feet as he was taking the pass.
I know the horse is long dead…but that team’s level of underperformance is mind boggling in retrospect.

Man he was awful at VU. How he can make an nba roster but foster and byars could not is astonishing.

I didn't recall that Ryan played as much ...
... as he did at Vanderbilt, primarily because he wasn't effective.
PER GAME (see college stats near bottom of page)
https://www.basketball-reference.com/pl ... nma01.html
25 minutes / 8 points / < 3 rebounds / < 1 assist
3-pt pct.: .328
2-pt pct.: .436
And that was in his fourth college season after 2 at Notre Dame then sitting out a year (while practicing) at Vanderbilt.
Ryan's numbers were better at Chattanooga, but then the competition was much weaker. Still, only shot 36% from long range.
Who would have thunk it?
