Naturally, I feel compelled to point out that this is Gannett (Tennessean and Knox News) trying to make a quick buck off the perhaps premature or irrational exuberance of Vols fans. It's not an official UT product, which will doubtless come later if their success continues.

Carry on. 8-)

I look forward to the chapter on how they stepped out of bounds (again) on fourth down and lost to their worst nightmare.

How will they describe the loss in Nashville?

I think they may overlook Kentucky. Especially since the week after that game they have Georgia. You know they’re going to be looking past Kentucky and expecting the Georgia game to be for the SEC East title.

Kentucky can beat UT. They almost did last year. The game went down to the wire.

Please please PLEASE Kentucky beat UT this year

Wouldn’t it be just like UT sports to get all their fans’ hopes up and then choke and lose to Kentucky and cost themselves a chance at the SECCG and playoffs?

(Just like their baseball team choked and lost early in the CWS when all their fans were expecting them to win the championship, and their basketball team choked and lost to a bad Michigan team and didn’t even make the Sweet Sixteen when their fans were expecting them to make the Final Four.)

They did not make it to the CWS! They lost 2 out of 3 games to Notre Dame at their home field in Knoxville

I guess when you haven't won a conference game in just over 3 years - 0-26 in the SEC since Oct. 19, 2019 - you gotta put your hopes and dreams on cats and dogs.

Oh my! 8-)

And when you are 5-5 against Vanderbilt last decade, you would expect just a touch of humility, but that is a word they do not understand. They are acting like they just won the national championship last week and well...
