The Final Four: Who Ya Wit?

Just call me a Dookie this week. I'd like to see Coach K finish on top.

You?

North Carolina. Editorial Comment: I think the fact that 2 ACC teams made it to the final 4, and 3 made it to the Elite 8 says something about the strength of the ACC this year. I am admittedly biased. Wake is my older son's alma mater (younger one went to Vandy). But I think Wake, with a 16-7 conference record, should have been invited. I know they had a pathetic OOC schedule, but still, 16-7 in the ACC is damn good. End of editorial.

For the record, they went 13-7 in conference. (Had to look that up because a 23 game conference schedule sounded off!) But with you that they probably deserved an invite.

Certainly over one of the 9 Big-10 teams that made it in. But Wake probably will rethink having one of the weakest OOC schedules next season. We had more impressive wins pre tournament than they did, they had a laughably easy OOC schedule.

I am pulling for Nova. I like their coach, Wright, and the program he runs, with many 4 year players.

Self at Kansas, do not like him at all.

Coach K. He has had his day in the sun.

North Carolina, my second choice.

Oops. I stand corrected. The fact that Wake got spanked by TAM didn't bolster my case any. Anyway, I think I read (or heard on TV) that this was the first time that an ACC team with BOTH the Coach of the Year and Player of the Year didn't make the Big Dance.

Duke was home for me for 17 years, and son-in-law is a grad and Coach K almost coached at VU so count me in as a Blue Devil this time around.
