Tyler Steen's little bro commits to UVA; Tyler takes official visit there as well

Tyler Steen's little brother Blake Steen, a 6-5 315-pound OL, has committed to Virginia over Vanderbilt and others.

Tyler Steen, the Vandy starting OL who entered the transfer portal at the end of last season, took an official visit to Virginia last weekend. He has not announced a destination, but it seems all but certain now he will end up at Charlottesville.

Virginia is the same school that got a commitment from Dawson Alters two weeks ago, whom Vanderbilt had (evidently wrongly) announced as a signee on signing day in December. (Evidently Alters never really signed, but was offered preferred walk-on status.)

All of these guys are from the same school, St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida, that has been a consistent pipeline for Vandy the last few years. Virginia, under new coach Tony Elliott, has been a thorn in Vandy's side this recruiting season, luring away these three offensive linemen that Vandy would have liked to have.
