The Razorbacks ended up with only 12 turnovers compared to 13 for the Commodores. Yet, Vanderbilt made the most of turnovers by scoring 13 points compared to 4 points off turnovers for Arkansas.

Arkansas snared 13 offensive rebounds to 9 for Vanderbilt, but the "Second Chance Points" were nearly equal ... 7 to 6 in favor of Arkansas.

Good stuff. I'm a little bit surprised to see Arkansas shot 40 percent from three. You'd pretty much take that every night. Other than that one streak in the second half when she hit four in a row, we did a great job on Ramirez overall. She's scary because her range is just about unlimited and she gets it off so fast. Late in the game, coach Ralph got a lot more aggressive with her, and it worked for the most part.

That number is wrong on the 3pt %- 9/33 is 28%.

That number is wrong on the 3pt %- 9/33 is 28%.

Yeah, that's more what it felt like. The 40 percent was "effective field goal percentage".

The last time the men and women each had a 4+ win streak that included conference games was February 2008. We are in good shape

Just watched replay - much like men: we won with tenacious defense and a whole lot of layups in the paint. We were ahead the entire game, but never comfortably, but found a way to win. Great game to win, coach's first conference game. Good to get the win against a decent opponent. Plenty to work on, too.

The effective field goal percentage is a statistic used in basketball to take into consideration the additional difficulty of three-point shots and the extra points awarded for making a three-pointer. Effective Field Goal Percentage, or eFG%, is calculated the following way: (2pt FGM + (1.5 * 3pt FGM)) / FGA

These ladies are tough, and they are fighters. If COVID were to impact us in such a way that we had only 4 eligible players, and if the league allowed it (which of course they do not), I think those 4 would suit up and say "let's play" and fight like hell to win the next game. That has not always been the case.
