I respectively disagree. We do. We just don't always run it.
See the Pitt game. See the first half of the SMU game. We have times when we run really good stuff. It's largely dribble-drive-based. Drive and kick to the weak side and reverse it. Repeat. The ball shouldn't stay in anyone's hands for very long. We sometimes run this, and run it well and get good shots. Stackhouse has a "system" and "philosophy." He is having trouble getting the kids to run it consistently.
The mystery to me is why we have such a hard time doing this consistently. We abandon it for long stretches. Sometimes it's a possession or two in between effective possessions. Sometimes, it's entire halves.
And then honestly, we just haven't gotten enough shooters in here. We're missing too many good shots - from the outside and from the inside. Have to get better at finishing.
To those who say we don't have an offense...

Re: To those who say we don't have an offense...
There are two main reasons to me we don't have an offense. We run some sort of offense for about the first 10-12 seconds then it falls apart into chaos.
1. Without a decent big man(Liam will help) it forces the dribble drive by the players who should be shooting from the outside when it is kicked back out. Guards driving into no man's land causes turnovers.
2. We do not have anyone that can shoot the 3 consistently.
Yes, I know it draws some fouls but should NOT be the gist of your offense. Not enough passing adds to the chaos.

Stute and Pippen are our best options from 3. But if we continue to struggle in the paint, opposing teams defenses will be playing spread out to defend the 3.
