There's aggressiveness, then there's stupidity. As soon as I saw him round second I knew he was dead meat.

Normally, on a hit-and-run, the guy can make it to 3rd. But he hesitated, for some reason, as he was approaching 2nd. That cost him. And us.

I'll be completely honest -- I didn't even realize it was a hit and run. (I have my TV on mute because the whistling gives me a headache so if the announcer said anything I missed it.) Given his position when Mangum scooped the ball, I assumed it was not.

Ump is suddenly giving Gordon an extra two inches around the plate. A low one to Infante. A fairly outside one to Scott.
