Re: Vanderbilt-Mississippi State Sunday
We are really respecting MSU's catcher. Not running much at all.
Tee-hee.
Ok - when I wrote that - no attempts. Three attempts this inning - all successful.

Re: Vanderbilt-Mississippi State Sunday
Gordon coming in with bases loaded.
He shut us down - but pitched a lot Friday. Kaiser was having a lot of trouble with the slider - I would have left Billingsley in for that batter.
But the ump was in Billingsley's head and he had thrown 90+ pitches. I thought the ump was right on most of those - but they were all close.

Big opportunity with bases loaded 2 out. We could use a big inning.

We have left bases loaded twice: that could come back to haunt.

That first pitch was 82-mph cheese that Kaiser could’ve smashed the hell out of were he not late. Almost looked like he was waiting till he saw a strike then realized immediately that he was offered a BP pitch.
Good to get the lead. I have a feeling three runs won’t be enough.

This umpire isn't good, but he's more bizarre than he is bad.
