Potentially big SEC schedule news

Post by AuricGoldfinger »

If true, this has major implications for the schedule. VU has benefited from having two of the traditionally weakest programs in the SEC East (Missouri, Kentucky), and South Carolina has probably been the third weakest for the last decade or so.

I'm assuming UT will be one of our permanent opponents, but have no idea about the other.

I cast my vote in a "Football Forum" thread for Vanderbilt's two permanent opponents to be Kentucky and Tennessee.

Would make sense for such a large conference to play 11 3-game series, but making sense usually does not relate to college sports.
