Re: All Things Vandy Baseball
I don't know this guy. It was kind of him to start tweeting action on the field, but he left out an awful lot. The last item from the game:
All things Vandy Baseball
@VandyAll
RJ Schreck smashes a 3 run homerun to right field. He’s been impressive today.
I do believe that Schreck could be our top power hitter.
Note: I tried to watch some baseball before going to the basketball game, but the start was late and all I got to see was Holton striking out Bradfield and McKenzie. Hewitt was up next and the count was probably 2-2 when I had to leave.
For the "home" team, Noland was playing 1B, Diaz SS, Austin 3B and it looked like Vastine at 2B. Did not see the outfielders numbers and don't know them well enough by sight at that distance.
There were umpires and pre-game music, but then no announcement of fielders, batters, etc. Difficult to follow. Of course, nothing about it on the Vanderbilt website.
Anxious for the season to start.
