I thought it was a very good article. My thoughts:
1. Like all Vandy fans I'll be pulling very hard for Kumar to make it to the Bigs. And not just make it, but be an All-Star some day.
2. I think he will IF he doesn't run into arm trouble.
3. And that's a very big IF. All pitchers are a single pull, tear, or tweak away from a possible career-ending injury. But I think there may be a bigger than average risk with Kumar. The Mets are not idiots. The odds are better-than even that something here is and/or has been awry. The fact that the Kumar camp refuses to share MRI results even today seems at least a little concerning.
4. I don't trust Scott Boras.
5. I feel for (but admire) the 36 year old guy mentioned in the article who's still playing in the minors.
