Great start. Nails the first batter on the first pitch, then throws the grounder to the pitcher onto right. First and third and no outs. :oops:

And another error. Hope Holton wasn’t wasted on game 1. Sure looking like Hyde cave to play today.

DP ball to Carter Young who promptly boots it. 1-0 SD and runners on first and second. Took the crapyplay of the sec tourney and compounded it.

Just not playing VU baseball. Lucky to be down only by 1 with 2 errors and hit by pitch.

Trying to watch on ESPN app and keep getting the error message saying game hasn’t started yet. Sigh. Have the radio call at least. ESPN app is so buggy.

This is an appalling start. I mean 2 terrible errors in the top of the first.

Lucky it’s only 1-0.

And we are burning our best pitcher.

We need to turn it on NOW.

By the way, Gonzaga of the WCC got drilled by Columbia. We need to hit.

Well, the bad news is we don’t score.

The good news is both Bradfield and Jones hit rockets - and Vaz walked. So - we did not go quietly.

Another great end. Vaz walks, Jones knocks the crap out of it but right to second who throws to first for the double play. Just shaking my head.
