Re: Arkansas 3
In his last 3 starts, Holton has thrown 17 shutout innings, given up only 10 hits. I assume he'll be out for the 7th on a short leash.

Re: Arkansas 3
Announcers complimenting our contact. And our plate discipline. And 2 strike hitting.
I’ll give credit to our coaches for that. We were unhappy when we weren’t doing those things… We obviously worked on it.

Re: Arkansas 3
Hypothetically, Jones could’ve tried to return to second there, yes? I know he was unaware of the rule (as were the announcers and myself ), but had he made them make the play to second, there was more chance of a throwing error and the likelihood of getting two outs would’ve been low. I know, in the moment, smart money says I’m safe at third and need to stay. But could he have pressed the issue by attempting to return had he known he could be tagged out once Bulger returned?

Re: Arkansas 3
Once Jack got back, yes, go back to second. Difficult timing though because you have to make sure Jack gets back, otherwise good chanceof both runners being tagged out.UltimateVUFan wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 5:49 pm Hypothetically, Jones could’ve tried to return to second there, yes?
