Why is he not on the Dodgers roster for the playoffs? Is he hurt?

He's not injured and could still be added if the Dodgers make the World Series. Dave Roberts said they liked Justin Bruihl and Evan Phillips against the Braves' power hitting lineup.

Joe Kelly out for duration of playoffs and, apparently, injured players can be replaced on a game-by-game basis. Good chance that DP gets activated.

Buehler is starting tonight on short rest, but to your earlier post, Price was indeed added to the roster to replace Joe Kelly.

Yes, I see that Buehler is starting on "short rest." Since he only threw 76 pitches last time out, that shouldn't be a problem.

CBS Sports had earlier indicated Price was going to get the "start" or be the "opener" (a new term for a guy not expected to go more than one or two innings), but he hasn't pitched for some time. I think Buehler is the better choice. We shall see.
