Bryan Reynolds - All Star

Post by Levon »

Bryan Reynolds named to NL All Star team. He was voted as a reserve by the players. Pretty cool and well earned!

I was thinking Walker Buehler might make the NL All-Star squad as well.

Can't believe he didn't.
Always hopeful; rarely optimistic. @GAD

Wasn't planning to watch after the MLBs switch from Ga to CO, But may have to tune in now.

Seems silly…how dare MLB consider the sentiments of many of their players on the matter.

If they had they would have stayed in Atlanta.

Back to the point of this thread, Bryan Reynolds, this is just huge for his career. He’s such a low key, unassuming guy as we all know. Hope he takes his time to enjoy it.

Brian Reynolds is one of my favorite all-time VU baseball players. Very consistent, clutch hitter who is currently batting in the three spot for Pittsburgh. Ironic that one of his teammates is Jacob Stallings - son of Kevin - who is a backup catcher and sometimes bats cleanup behind Reynolds. Irony is that Reynolds played at Brentwood HS and Stallings at Brentwood Academy. Quite a coincidence. Go Vandy!

I just love to watch Bryan unwrap and rewrap his batting gloves after every pitch ... while the pitcher sweats and wonders what he can throw next.

Bryan played baseball with my son in HS and we attended his wedding. He is good kid and easy to pull for on the field.

Reynolds started the AS game in CF for injured Ronald Acuna and just missed an HR in his first AB. Aaron Judge ran it down just short of the fence. The announcers are having a love fest with about 6-7 big name players and as a result barely mentioned Reynolds and his near HR. Sigh...
