Apparently not good for Tate Kolwyck

Post by commadore »

Reporter asked Corbs if he knew what happened at second base to Tate. His answer: "I don't." Any time he gives a cryptic answer like that he is either mad or it is bad.

Personally, I am tired of seeing our players getting hurt at second base on throw away games.

I think these guys are intense competitors and they go full speed all the time. This probably explains all the strike outs too.

It’s frustrating when a key player gets injured sliding headfirst while taking an extra base in a 9-0 game. Avoidable on multiple levels. Hope it’s a relatively minor injury!

I saw someone say on Twitter that Corbs rarely ever has any information in the postgame presser about injured players as he usually doesn't speak to the trainer until after the game and the presser. Hopefully it's just a jammed finger.

It was, however, the same wrist he broke earlier.
