Meyers starting. He pitched 1.2 against us in the 13-2 win and gave up four runs. Let's hope he is just as effective today!

Did anyone else notice Spencer Jones tipping his hat to Copps after being struck out last night?

Wasted opportunities. Two on, no outs, and the stay there.

This is a big stage. We need to execute.

First two batters smack singles. #3 and #4 then strike out. Keegan fanned without a single pitch in the strike zone.

Arkansas executed, moved runners and got them home. They are very unselfish and disciplined. Our guys are hacking more than executing. We squandered a chance to put OM on their heels.

Leiter was good in the first. Let’s hope it continues.

I’m going to stop criticizing - but Leiter’s waste pitches with 2 strikes are consistently total wastes - he hits OM for a pass on a guy he could strike out by just attacking.

Ok - I’m done criticizing. But we need to play up to our talent. And it’s been a while.

OM 2 runs on 1 hit.

We are not charged with an error. But failure to find a pop out behind the plate also costs a run.

Repeat of yesterday except that the Boys failed to strike first with 2 early runs (despite a great opportunity to do so).

Well, with 2 or 3 on would walk him. In that situation you refer to he ended up walking anyway so if we intentionally walked him Leiter would have 5 or 6 fewer pitches so far.

Agree on walking Elko, especially when his wheels aren’t 100%.

Is Bradfield the only guy on the team that can hit?

Shame Keegan couldn't do that last time up.
