Bad day. Can’t buy runs even when everything seems to be going right.

Ironically, if Bulger could have gotten out of the way of the wild HBP - we would have scored another with Bradfield on 3rd. No way that one gets caught.

If this team can win a regional at home, and that is a BIG IF ....they will not win the super regional even at home. Just not enough pitching left. Coasting on fumes can get you through a regional but not a super. Truth be told, tossing lots of pitches in the dirt is not Omaha-worthy. Neither is stranding tons of runners. I actually don't think this year's national champ will be from the SEC unless it's Arky. (yes, I know Florida is hot right now but they could turn back into a pumpkin any minute)

Today's CTC post game interview may be a classic, although it would be hard to top yesterday's.

Small ball time. I was even thinking Keegan should have bunted in the 8th just to stir things up.... If yes, I know the bases were loaded but we need to break the ice somehow and start putting up more crooked numbers.(He did have a very good at bat though and certainly no blame on him.)

Post it somebody: I bet it will be less terse than yesterday. He has had time to come to terms with this team.

Yep - he has come to terms with the reality of this year's team. I hope he also has a plan for them to win in the NCAA tournament. I hope that is what the change in demeanor means. I am sure he is not resigned to defeat.

Hopefully the team got bored. We played with great energy against Kentucky when the East was on the line. Unfortunately the outcome of game 3 was not ideal. Maldanado's gopher balls are worrisome going forward. Feel good about regional. Supers not so much.
