My wife and I have discussed how this team is starting to remind us of the 2014 team. They couldn't seem to get it together, pitchers were less than stellar, including some guys who were high draft picks. You didn't feel like some pitchers could be trusted to be used. Didn't think they had the grit to come back in games. Thought we had no chance to win in Omaha. Well, we won it all somehow. We had the talent and they played up to it enough to win it all. We are better this year and ranked in the top 5, but those 2014 feelings are creeping back in. Maybe we are just spoiled. Baseball is a funny and humbling sport.
