Why is David Price

Pitching out of the Dodgers bullpen instead of starting. Pitching middle relief now.

The Dodgers are loaded and David is nearing the end. Taking last year off did no favors for a 35 yr old player, and he isn't 100% healthy. He has been good when given an inning in the past week, so I do hope he gets in the rotation- even though I am not a Dodgers fan.

His contract runs through 2022, and I was hoping he would make a push towards 200 career wins, but he sits at 151-80 for his career, and it's going to be tough for him to get there unless he just hangs on for a mid-level team as the #4/5 starter until he's 40. Losing basically 2 years probably ended his shot.

He also offered to do so. He told the Dodgers he would be willing to do that in order to be back with the team. Basically he wants to be on a good team and win. I'm all for guys doing the things they need to do in order to get paid and get their shine, but he is prioritizing wins. I gotta give him credit for that.
