Re: Ole Miss #3
Keegan has effectively adjusted to the strike zone as the year has progressed. Most teams played a pronounced shift on the left side of the infield against him earlier in the year. Not now as he goes more and more with the pitch, that 2-run single a good example.

Re: Ole Miss #3
Some of these ball calls look really questionable.

Made the change one pitch too late.

Re: Ole Miss #3
With a rested bullpen, why was Reilly still in? Corbs is historically slow to pull a struggling pitcher. Sigh...

Re: Ole Miss #3
This is a Sunday where we have a lot of arms. In my opinion inexcusable to leave in Reilly after the four pitch walk.
But no one was ready - so he grooves one & the lead is gone.
This is a huge game and that was not good. A win and we are back in first. All hands on deck in a game like this.

Long relief is not our strong suit. We are in trouble. Too bad Reilly couldn't have another strong performance today. Today was bad. But he has promise.

Re: Ole Miss #3
I do think the ump got in his head. He missed a lot of close ones on the corner.
We are down 4-2. And it was kind of a gift. Not sure why we are saving the big guns. We can lose this game right here.

Re: Ole Miss #3
Man, this disaster starts with slow-acting Corbs. No way Reilly, who has had one sustained good outing this year, should've still been pitching after the walk. May not have made any difference as Chernobyl implodes, but we'll never know now. Looks like the team's third best pitcher, Maldonado, may not even throw a pitch this weekend. This team is too talented to ride the performance roller coaster they've been on the last month.
