5-0 but not a safe lead against these hitters

Leiter hitting 97 mph.

It will be real interesting how long coach lets him go.

Good news: 46 pitches through 4 innings.

This has been a weird game (of course overall in a good way). Every Ole Miss leadoff has reached. Leiter has been very effective, of course, but not 100% himself yet.

Laneve with a blast - he hit it to the track on his first AB. He can hit.

Two of Coach’s inserts for today have homered.

Bradfield then bunts for a single - our first hit of the day that isn’t a homer.

Four homers - but terrible performance with runners in scoring position continues. 6-0. But it could’ve been more. Bradfield stranded at third again. We had 2nd & 3rd one out and two pop outs...

The decision to rest Leiter last week appears to be a really good decision.

Still not a comfortable lead against the SEC scoring leaders.

As Leiter has regained command, ump is giving him more benefit of the doubt.

He strikes out the side in the 5th. 4 in a row. 10 for the game. 60 pitches in 5 innings.

7-0 heading to the bottom of the sixth.

I am guessing this will be Leiter’s last inning.

Young should maybe be batting 8th or 9th. Your 2nd place hitter has to make contact.

We could/should have scored more. Hope leaving all the runners in scoring position doesn't come back to bite.

7-1 Leiter works out of jam of his own making with walks and wild pitch to score. Leiter gets them retired on Ks

Noland blasts a three run shot. 10-1 in the seventh.

Nice to see us follow up yesterday with this performance.

And let’s face it, OM’s pitcher yesterday was good...

Laneve delivers another RBI single with a runner in scoring position.
