Louisville
Underway at 3PM, EBjr swinging K on big, wide breaking curve. New #2 hitter CJ routine 4-3 bouncer, 2 outs. And Keegan down swinging. Not much to be excited about in that half-inning.
Re: Louisville
Christian Little gets the 1st guy, first pitch bouncer to Gonzo. Two pitches later a double to RF corner. #3 hitter is hitting .400 with 9 HRS. Whew...Gonzo robs him of extra bases on great stab down the line, throws him out a first (nice pick.by Keegs). Terrific play from a guy I've given a lot of grief to!
Re: Louisville
2-out walk to clean up hitter, but #5 guy out on a soft bouncer to Keegs. Scoreless after 1.
Re: Louisville
Thomas great tumbling head-first slide at first to avoid diving 1B after squibber down the line. Got a little lucky, on replay it looked like Thomas was tagged on the hand, but no official replay used. Then Young K'ed looking and Noland easy grounder to 2B.
Re: Louisville
Sorry, I certainly didn't mean to hurt any feelings, we're talking about a baseball game. And to be accurate, my first post was at 3:07, yours was at 3:10. Keegs just parked one, we should all be happy.

Re: Louisville
Weird game - first three innings we could not get the ball in the air. Tons of ground outs. No walks.
Fourth inning - a long fly ball, a homer, walk, long fly ball, walk, a strike out on a ball a foot outside. First one I think the ump has really totally missed today. I mean, it was way outside.

Re: Louisville
And we are down 2-1.
walk, hbp, sac, ground out, wild pitch.
Focus. Little was pitching very well. But really took his foot off the gas in the fourth and paid for it. Sloppy gift runs.

Re: Louisville
That was very un-CJ like on that block. This has been a strange, very uninspired game from both teams. Almost feels like a scrimmage.

Re: Louisville
Agreed. Although both teams are very good - and both starters were throwing 95, with impressive curves...
We need to get home and play an unranked team and get our swag back. We are definitely lacking swag tonight...
Re: Louisville
Particularly when followed by a poor defensive play and an even worse pickoff attempt. Dores just seem a little mind-numb at this point. And then s terrific throw and tag Young to CJ. Wow!
