Florida coach cussed out ump from 2 outs in the top of the second all the way until the start of the bottom of the second after the commercials. Guess if you’re a scum bag all the time you get more leniency, absolutely blows my mind he wasn’t ejected.

Agree. The ump gave him a lot of rope, seemed excessive to me.

Thomas Ks on slider waaay out of the strike zone. Leiter needs to protect the lead.

First out straightaway fly to EBjr in CF.
Next guy drops a bomb deep onto the berm in LF. Same guy who hit the first HR. Leiter left a 2-2 slider in the middle of the plate, almost a BP kinda pitch. 4-4.
After a pop to 2nd, the next guy hits a screaming line drive HR to the berm on another hanging slider. Jack is not sharp tonight. 5-4 Fla.

This is 3 weeks in a row that he has struggled with command and location. Three weeks is starting to feel like a trend...a bad trend

Jones starts the 4th with a big bouncing infield single up the middle. He's deceptively fast.

Jones steals 2nd. Kolwyk strike 3 chase on a slider that was never near the strike zone. Romero bails him out with a bomb over the Fla bullpen in RF. Pitcher set a slider on a tee, Romero made him pay!

Young short fly to RF takes us to bottom of 4th. 6-5 Vandy as the seesaw keeps going. Leiter needs a strong inning...

Gets the first guy, routine groundout to 2B.
One-out line drive single to left, another fat slider. At 72 pitches with 1 out in the 4th. The bullpen will need to be strong tonight.

After a walk, Noland throws out hitter on slow roller to 3rd. Fla with runners on 2nd & 3rd, 2 outs. 2-HR guy on deck. Kolwyk boots ground ball that should been the 3rd out, both guys score, now 7-6 Fla. Ball took a funny little hop, but that still should have been a fairly routine out.

Keegan drives a ball to the warning track in straightaway center. The CF does a very nice job getting turned completely around on a ball directly over his head, ends up making a fairly routine play. Well done.
Vandy strands single-hitting Noland, to the bottom of 5th, Hunter Owen in to pitch. Stress level rising...
