We have lost a lot of offensive firepower now, so our results will largely be dependent on developing new guys. Every time I think "we'll never have another Pedro or Dansby", here comes A-Mart or JJ.
The rotation projects to have possibly the two best MLB prospects in college baseball, and Tyler Brown is back, so this pitching staff will carry us a long way.

I incorrectly inferred the topic to mean that Vanderbilt is nowhere to be found in the Top 25.
I think a #7 ranking is about right. However, I would move us higher if Hassell and Crow-Armstrong spurn the majors in 2020. And our offense is still promising; the next 4 or 5 top-ranked Vanderbilt recruits are position players.
