I've read a number of articles about Donny and the tragic accident. Like most of you, it never fails to bring a tear or 2. But this is the first time I've heard it stated that he was going to start a game in the regional. As a freshman; with just 12 IP for the year to that point.
Every life is both sacred and special. And the biggest story here is the loss of that life. But few lives carried with them the promise of such potential, powerful and yet unfulfilled. And few lives have touched as many hearts as did his.
