Yes, well deserved.
With injuries to Demarco and Cooper, inconsistent and often suspect relief pitching, and two weekend starters with 4.00+ ERAs, Corbin had a lot of juggling to do to bring a championship to Vanderbilt.

Re: CORBS NAMED SEC COACH OF THE YEAR
I've been saying for years that Tim Corbin is the greatest coach in SEC history, all sports included. He built and has maintained a nationally powerful program in a major sport at Vanderbilt--not exactly a place that emphasizes athletics--in a conference of state universities with practically unlimited budgets and administrative support, with maniacal fan bases. He was, is and will continue to be a miracle worker who is simultaneously a morally grounded, ethical man. Bear Bryant? Adolph Rupp? Nick Saban? I'll take Corbs everytime.
