Once again, failure to...
advance the runner hurts us. Ray misses two bunt attempts and then, true to fashion, swings at a ball low and away and misses it by a foot. Then Scott singles. With the successful bunt, we get a run. Without, we have to get a second two out hit, wild pitch, or error.

The 2 run lead makes me really nervous. If Raby falters it's probably going to mean a run or 2 for Bama. He normally doesn't go more than about 7 innings.

Does NO ONE on or team know how to hit a curve? A simple breaking ball? Bleday, Paul, and Ray looked pitiful. Clarke also looked pretty bad until he was bailed out with a fastball that he hit to left for a double. I am just scared 2 runs isn't going to be close to enough once Raby is pulled, which may be now.

Ethan Paul will never get out of single A unless he can learn to hit a breaking ball. Missed three this time by a foot each. Brown needs to get three up and three down here in the ninth, leading 2-0.
