The red flags were there with the change in order, and this is two weeks in a row he was shelled. Maybe a few weeks off would do some good, but this is more than just a lack of stuff. He isn't commanding anything the last couple of starts.
The really bad part today was the bullpen. We had the "best" guys all available, and they just didn't get it done. No idea what has happened to King and Gillis who were supposed to be the veteran bullpen pieces.

You are right on! Zack has struggled greatly lately especially, I still have nightmares about A&m too. Zach and Gilley were preseason closers watchlist. Jackson has only thrown about 4 innings all year. Fish didn't have it today. Imo it's time to give Gillis a shot. I would throw him a couple of innings Tues. and see what happens. Alabama shouldn't be that tough. Would be an opportunity to see what some of these guys have got. Chase Huff had some good outing mid week, maybe he needs another look.
