Give up 22 hits, you should lose
We got problems getting Sunday wins. That was an uncharacteristic meltdown by Tyler brown in the 9th. Corbs has gotta be scratching his head about Sunday games.

I think Coach Drew was re-assigned to coach-up the Vandy bullpen.

I think the whole bteam and coaching staff need to take extra laps for this one!

Ark got one run in the T8, off of Eder. Brown relieved, and got the last out in the 8th.charlestonalum wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2019 6:46 pm I had to go out when we were up 11-8 - what happened?

Does anyone remember the last time King came in and pitched well? Seems he either gets hammered or walks the bases loaded every time he comes in. Fisher not much better. Eder is spotty. Great one time, horrible the next. We REALLY need to get some pitchers in here next year, as we lose Fellows, Raby, Brown, and others.

Fisher has been terrific for a month before yesterday. Agree that King is a mess right now, and Eder is 50/50 to throw strikes.commadore wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 8:03 am Does anyone remember the last time King came in and pitched well? I don't think Brown is draft eligible. Turns 21 in October.

Oh good. I heard the ESPN guys Saturday saying he'd go fairly high in the draft this year. Guess they didn't look at his year and I didn't check them on it. He may have to be a starter next year, though.

In other weekend series, Corbs has brought Tyler in only once. Yesterday was his second appearance of the weekend. That may have been too much.

He only threw 19 pitches on Friday. If he can't come back on Sunday for a few outs, then he has a long way to go to get to the majors.Good2BGold wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 12:01 pmIn other weekend series, Corbs has brought Tyler in only once.
