I was the first to say that he should get the award, but another VU player got the shaft. Stephen Scott finished the week hitting .600, had an on base percentage of .714, and a slugging percentage of 1.889. He had two homers, 2 doubles, 9 RBI, 12 runs, 4 walks, 2 HBP. Meanwhile, Jordan Westburg of MSU hit .583, had an on base percentage of .647, and 11 RBI. The ONLY thing he beat Scott on was RBI at 11 to 9. Scott should have gotten that pure and simple, but they didn't want to give both to a Vandyboy.
Still, congratulations goes to Fellows, who more than deserved it. Let's hope he can duplicate the feat this Friday.

And MSU played five games last week while Vandy played only four.
