SEC Scores and Standings (1/26/23)

Post by MikeADore »

There are no conference implications, but the UConn at Tennessee game should be fun. The Huskies have been on the Vandy plan for much of the season playing with seven players. They just got an eighth player back this week. They’ve had games where the five starters played virtually the entire game. That’s tough, but they are incredibly well conditioned and never seem to noticeably tire. Geno has often preferred a six- or seven-player rotation. Some of his best teams were handled that way.

All four of the actual conference matchups should be good ones with opponents closely placed in the standings. Vandy, of course, has the night off and is looking toward Sunday’s home matchup against Texas A&M.

6:00 Auburn at Kentucky (SEC+)
6:00 Missouri at Georgia (SEC+)
6:00 Alabama at Arkansas (SEC Network)
7:00 (5) UConn at Tennessee (ESPN)
8:00 Mississippi State at Ole Miss (SEC Network)
