Games of Interest Today

Post by MikeADore »

11 a.m. Columbia at #7 Iowa State--ESPN+
Will be interesting to see how Columbia handles this challenge. ISU is big and explosive on offense. Columbia went on the road and beat a good Seton Hall team after losing to us.
Noon N.C. State at UConn—FS1
Two top-five teams, including one, N.C. State, that we play Thursday in Cancun. Should be an exciting game, and it should end about the time the Vandy game starts.
1 p.m. Georgia at Georgia Tech--ACC Network
Will be interesting to see if Georgia’s new coach, Katie Abrahamson-Henderson, has been able to transport her tough and physical style of defense from UCF to the Bulldogs. She brought some UCF players with her to Athens.
2 p.m. St. Josephs at Vanderbilt—SEC+
St. Joes is 3-0, and Vandy has a chance to go to 6-0 heading into the Cancun tournament.
2 p.m. South Carolina at Stanford—ESPN3
SC is #1 in the nation, and Stanford is #2. I’ll save this one for replay after the Vandy game.
2 p.m. #20 Creighton vs. Northern Iowa—ESPN+
Creighton has been one of the most impressive teams in the country early in the season. They beat #22 Nebraska by 26 in their last outing. We face Northern Iowa Friday in Cancun. They lost a recent game to powerhouse Iowa State by three.
6 p.m. Lipscomb vs. Hawaii—ESPN+
Just because it’s Lipscomb.
