Two Big Games Tonight

Post by MikeADore »

5 p.m. #11 Indiana vs. #5 Tennessee (ESPN2)...Go Hoosiers

5:30 #3 Texas at #6 UConn (FS1)...Both starting point guards are injured. UConn's Paige Bueckers is out for the season, and Texas' Rori Harmon suffered a leg injury in their season opener. No word on how serious it is. If she is out, UConn certainly has more cushion with all those high school All-Americans lined up ready to play.

Indiana wins 79-67 in Knoxville. They're a beautiful team to watch with their ball movement and shooting. The portal champions are 1-2 now.

Uconn is a well oiled machine despite their superstar PG & excellent freshman out for the year - very impressed. Stanford - the same; SC - the same. UT looks to be in trouble unless a major turnaround - coaching? chemistry? certainly too much talent to demo their struggles; Dont see UT AD holding on to CKH past this year unless marked improvement shown unless womens BB just not as important anymore. Men BB struggling too so they only have football & maybe baseball. Am so thankful to have CSR & hope our AD does whatever necessary to hang onto her as could see other programs looking at her given what she does with much less talent.
