Two Big Games on TV Today

Post by MikeADore »

FIrst, we have a couple of national powers with UConn at Oregon at 4 CST on ESPN2. Both have been injury/sickness riddled. Oregon is just getting healthy while UConn is still missing Paige Buekers and Azzi Fudd, the top recruit in the nation this year. Hard to feel sorry for them, though. They still have a roster full of players who were top-10 in their respective classes. Also, they have Juharz, a veteran 6'5 post who transferred in from Ohio State this year.

The bigger game for SEC fans is Georgia at Missouri at 6 CST on SEC Network. They're tied at 2-2 in conference play, and the winner will move into a tie with Florida for fifth place in the standings. Georgia has been a slight disappointment so far, at least compared to their lofty expectations, while Missouri has been one of the surprise positive stories with a win over South Carolina and an overtime loss to LSU in Baton Rouge just three days before we played there. They also lost by two at Baylor earlier in the season. We get the Tigers at Memorial Thursday night.
