Vandy v Arizona, 2:15 today
Playing last year's national runner-up is a big challenge. Vandy definitely gets to play the "nobody expected us to win" card for this one.

Re: Vandy v Arizona, 2:15 today
The game is on ESPN3. If, like me, you don't use that very often, here's a quick tutorial:
On Computer or Laptop:
1. Go to espn3.com
2. Near the top of the page is a line of choices. Click on Schedule and Replays
3. There is another list of choices including "live" and "upcoming." If you're there before game time, click "upcoming"
4. This takes you to a list of events. Scroll down to "Women's College Basketball" and click on the Vandy vs. Arizona link
On TV:
If you have the ESPN app on your TV, open it. Near the top is a list of choices. Scroll over and click on "Browse" then scroll down to "Channels.." Find ESPN3 in that list and open it. You'll see games listed there.
I'm not sure I"ve done a good job explaining it, but it's pretty intuitive once you get into it. If you're having difficulty, I'll try to help if I can.
ETA: I've seen a couple places where it says the game is on ESPN+. I've checked the ESPN+ schedule and can't find it, so I think ESPN3 is the only place. By the way, the Rutgers-Depaul tournament game comes on at noon, so that's a chance to figure out how to do this ahead of time.

I'll be doing holiday family stuff the rest of the day and will miss all of this game. I can't predict who will have a worse day today -- the Dores or our Thanksgiving turkey.

You have a young, inexperienced and distracted team playing against a team with an immense talent advantage. What could go wrong?geeznotagain wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 1:34 pm I'll be doing holiday family stuff the rest of the day and will miss all of this game. Re: Vandy v Arizona, 2:15 today
ESPN is telling me that my event is about to begin, but since it's after posted start time, there must be a delay.
Re: Vandy v Arizona, 2:15 today
The live starts have switched from the DePaul-Rutgers game to Arizona-Vanderbilt with a message saying the game hasn't started yet.
Re: Vandy v Arizona, 2:15 today
All things considered, a decent start, only down 2 midway through 1Q at 5-3.
Re: Vandy v Arizona, 2:15 today
Fortunately so far we're making it hard for them to score, too. 11-7 end of first, not too bad.

Not bad at all. They said we only have 10 players there. I wonder what's up with that. I'm assuming Pearl, Gardner and Asha Taylor are three of the missing players. Don't know who else.

Eeek. I hate that Sacha Washington flubbed the last three plays in the half…. Could be closer but 3 back to back turnovers

They said we only have 10 players there, but live stats show 11 players:

Yes, I looked at the roster to make sure I wasn't forgetting someone. We have 11 there.VandyWhit wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 3:27 pmThey said we only have 10 players there, but live stats show 11 players:
