No Exhibition Game This Year

Post by MikeADore »

The ladies won't be playing an exhibition game this year as they've done in years past. Instead, they will be playing two closed-door scrimmage games, including this weekend. Not sure who the opponents will be.

NCAA rules do not allow publicizing the details of pre-season scrimmages, and there are strict rules about who can attend. I'm pretty sure you're not even allowed to formally keep score.

I suspect coach Ralph thinks that, with such an inexperienced team with so much to learn about a new system, controlled scrimmages are probably much more beneficial than a formal exhibition game.
