And it's not who you think it is.

Congrats to Wesley Schelling, the nation's leading scorer among long snappers!

And no one on the second team. :( Very surprising.

Just curious ...

... as to why the first team has two kickoff specialists and one long snapper while the second team has one kickoff specialist and two long snappers?

I don't even think Kickoff Specialist should be an All-Conference position since the place kicker is usually also the guy doing the kickoffs. Why not PK Holder? Gunner? Blocking Back? Nickel Defensive Back? Wildcat Guy?

VU had some legit players get snubbed. Not that surprising. I honestly think the SEC wouldn’t mind seeing VU leave amongst all the ongoing conference realignment.

The list of disrespect just in the past few weeks includes:
- Giving UF a bogus opportunity at a last second W on the gridiron
- The UK-affiliated official who screwed VU in the VCU bball game.
- Omission of guys like Orji, Taylor, and Davis from all-conference teams; arguably deserving; probably not even considered

The snub may give Orji a reason to return and prove the naysayers to be fools.

Congrats Wesley! HUGE accomplishment for anybody- but especially for someone in a Vanderbilt jersey.
