In the same time slot: Alabama-Tennessee on CBS and Arkansas-Brigham Young on ABC or ESPN. So shinier objects elsewhere maybe.
I'm usually behind the times: when did the 2:30 slot on CBS cease being exclusive for SEC games at that time? (I'm glad it isn't anymore.)

I think it's been that way since the start of the SEC Network.FayetteDore wrote: ↑Mon Oct 03, 2022 1:39 pm In the same time slot: Alabama-Tennessee on CBS and Arkansas-Brigham Young on ABC or ESPN. So shinier objects elsewhere maybe.

Re: Game time, TV announced for Georgia game
The SEC is leaving CBS after next season and all games will be part of the ABC/ESPN networks. Shortly after the new deal was inked ESPN announced the "SEC game of the week" will sometimes be at 2:30, sometimes in prime time, sometimes on ABC, sometimes on ESPN, yada yada. Until the deal ends CBS does retain the right for first choice each week.FayetteDore wrote: ↑Mon Oct 03, 2022 1:39 pm In the same time slot: Alabama-Tennessee on CBS and Arkansas-Brigham Young on ABC or ESPN. Thanks Divergent and Auric. I'm glad that more than one game can be played in mid-afternoon. For a while, if you weren't on CBS at 2:30, it was either 11 am or a night game. I'm old enough to remember when games started at 1 or 2 pm.
