Re: Vanderbilt-Alabama game thread
Wright needs to see the field before Swann gets killed. 2:49 in half with one net rushing yard. Game is pretty much over but a running QB could maybe stop some of the bleeding.

Re: Vanderbilt-Alabama game thread
Hayball not only an excellent kicker - but two tackles and a forced fumble.
Lynch just leaving Swann in the pocket.
Welcome to the SEC. Pretty obvious face mask on Davis missed by the refs.

How did they miss that face mask!!? Are you serious???
Edit: did anyone see if Lea or any other coaches were in the refs face about that? Because that was blatant and should have been called.

Missed face mask is going to put Bama points on the board. Piss poor officiating. I know it wouldn’t decide the game, but they are paid to make the calls. Horse $hit!
EDIT: or perhaps they’re paid NOT to make the calls…

Re: Vanderbilt-Alabama game thread
I haven’t read the rest of this thread. I may not t e the only one who feels this way.
Looks like our Swann playbook isn’t working TODAY. I would like to see Wright in there.

If we arent in the refs face about that blatant face mask, then there is a real problem.
Lets hope Lea was shown that clip and took action.

Re: Vanderbilt-Alabama game thread
And why not let Wright see the field? Seems VU coaches specialize in stubborn refusal to adapt.
Re: Vanderbilt-Alabama game thread
Can’t say I’m disappointed or pleased this is about what I expected…

Re: Vanderbilt-Alabama game thread
Stop with the Wright stuff!! We are NOT gonna run on Bama and Wright can't throw. Other than a scramble play Wright won't do anything.
Our O-line doesn't know their blocking assignments and can't hang when they do. A couple more recruiting years then maybe we will have some talent on the O-line.
