Trudell Berry

I am considering tonight as a collegiate vs NFL exhibition game. A chance to learn what will probably be painful lessons that could pay off later.
The mission as I see it is to win at least one SEC game and the keys to that are improved DL and DB play.
On the DL there is hope because some of the talented underclassmen are gaining much needed experience and if Daveion Davis is back and healthy that will be an immediate boost. Bapbst and Cecil would also be very welcome returnees.
More problematic among the DBs. Mahoney getting healthy is key. But the best hope I can see for the defensive backfield to level up is if Berry, one the higher rated recruits in this class, turns out to have an impact. I expect he will get burned by Bama at least once. But if he can show promise against this NFL roster that will be an encouraging portent for later in the season.
