That's a font we can believe in.
My enthusiasm cannot be contained.
Such masterful marketing...
Is it baseball season, yet?
Will we do Sarah 2.0 and have a girl pinch-run?
Will we replace our salute to the military uniforms with tranny pink & light blues?
All change is good.

VUAD should take a poll asking how much they liked it. cc, why don't you suggest this to ADCSL?

The design doesn't bother me but don't see why the change was that necessary. What does bother me is the impression I am getting that the Department thinks these little bits of window dressing are somehow such a big deal. Put money , focus and effort into the concrete things that provide better support for the athletes and coaches and don't spend a penny or a minute on simply painting a slightly prettier picture.

FWIW I'd heard the turf was being replaced anyway.OldDude wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 2:57 pm The design doesn't bother me but don't see why the change was that necessary. If that's the case, then no harm, no foul.AuricGoldfinger wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 3:11 pmFWIW I'd heard the turf was being replaced anyway.OldDude wrote: ↑Sun Jun 19, 2022 2:57 pm The design doesn't bother me but don't see why the change was that necessary. Most attendees will think we put the "v" upside-down...

Of course, they may have a different "V" by the time the season starts.

The “V” faces the cameras which show mostly the opposing fans and our meager student section.
Should have the cams shooting from the east side toward the press box side with more Black & Gold.
But then we will need to turn around the V.

OR, they could offer Vanderbilt fans deals on tickets in the upper half of the middle of the east side (Sections R, S & T), like they do the south end zone and Section A. (Personally I'd still rather be in the south side and not be facing the sun.) It would be a three-fer: more ticket sales, fewer SEC opponents in those same seats, and better visuals.
But what do I know
Can't scamper or slither...but I used to swim.
