I see the NCAA adopting a 13 game limit in the future

Joe, i agree. IF/when that happens, i don't like 5-or even 6- Ws to qualify for a bowl. Except there are about a dozen too many bowls.

10 games means fewer teams with six wins, although I suppose the extra SEC contests might add enough revenue to partially offset the loss of bowl games.
You may have hit upon part of the rationale for adding the 9th SEC game as well. The bowl games that would be lost by 2 or 3 teams that finish with 5 wins instead of 6 are going to be lesser-paying games anyway.
